While sugar cookies are delicious in their own right, sometime they need a little extra pizazz to make them special. These thumb print sugar cookies fit that bill. All the tasty flavor of a normal sugar cookie, with a little extra texture and flavor added. Typically most people use apricot or raspberry as the filling, but I am partial to strawberry jam myself!

Now, I will tell you I love mint anything. Mint gum, peppermints, candy canes, etc. Chocolate and mint is by far one of my favorite combinations out there. A few years ago, I stumbled upon Andes mint baking chips. And thus was born Mint Chocolate Cookies!!! So scrumptious and tasty, I can never stop with just 1 cookie.

What good is a cookie blog without the best cookie out there, the chocolate chip cookie! There is nothing tastier than fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies.
It is a staple in my kitchen and I rarely go a month with out baking these delicious cookies.
I use the Nestles Toll house recipe with just a few modifications. I prefer the mini chips because it makes the cookies more chocolaty
