I think everyone can agree that Blondie bars are delicious by themselves. When you turn your average Blondie Bar into an amazing Snickerdoodle Blondie Bar, you can not go wrong! Now I know most people associate Snickerdoodle cookies with the holidays, but I am a fan of them year round. I love the soft cookie texture paired with scrumptiousness of cinnamon and sugar any time of year.

This Snickerdoodle Blondie brownies is a yummy take on the old time classic blondie. This is the perfect recipe for a chewy blondie bar covered with a tantalizing cinnamon sugar topping. It makes these Snickerdoodle Blondie Bars an addicting treat!!  

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp Cinnamon

 

Topping

  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp Cinnamon

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease an 9-x-13” pan lined with parchment paper. 
  2. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugars together until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well combined.
  3.  In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder.
  4. Slowly stir into wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Add batter to pan and tap to make sure it is even.
  6. Sprinkle top with cinnamon-sugar.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
  8. Enjoy!!!
